known issue *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 116738 *** dupe Please open and check the mentioned 'testtar.tar' file delivered by OOO installaiton before considering to close this defect again. Great that you responded so quick & identified a related defect so quickly, I looked search before submitting using 'avira', 'long name' 'longname' 'gnu/123' and did not find any related bugs!! However, the related defect was seemingly closed as "won't fix" with an indication that it is an Avira issue!! This is not correct, I have since looked at the directory and file that Avira was complaing about and it does indeed have recurring sub directory /123/123/123 etc etc. Please be so kind to have a look for yourself. C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3 \Basis\program\python-core-2.6.1\lib\test, open testtar.tar, navigate to the /gnu sub directory and you will find a sub sub directory /123, open sub sub directory /123 and you will find sub sub sub directory /123. I stopped at about 20 sublevels of /123. it is there and I do not think should not be. This is not an Avira issue, but an OOO issue where a test file contains a unknown number of spooled /123 sub directories. The test fiel should be removed or fixed.
