Hi,

the problem is:

if I copy a table from Base and then paste it to Calc, the fields list in Calc is ordered alphabetically ascending and has not the original order.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Attach an odb (ver. 3.30) to Access 2000 file "test.mdb" (see attachment)

2. test.mdb contains a table (Table1) with 2 fields ('B', 'A') containing 1 record ('B', 'A'), so if I open Table1 (double click) in Base I see:
'B' 'A'
'B' 'A'

3. Table1 opened, I click once on the top left corner to select all the table, then I right click and select "Copy"

4. I open a new Calc spreadsheet and I paste, I see:
'A' 'B'
'B' 'A'
So the fields are ordered alphabetically ascending, and have not the expected order.

Dario

If you use your example file as registered database / data source, you can add your data without any problem, from table you can insert data into spreadsheet.

Hi r4zoli,

I think that if I have the option to copy and paste data from base to calc, it should be done correctly, even if I have a workaround to do it...

For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
