I can confirm it in OOo 3.4 Beta1 with 1.2.2 betam105, and OOo 3.3. ORB 1.2.1-rev2. Problems with user defined accumulation functions and grouping. getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity". For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used. |
Created attachment 76548 [details] ZIP file containing Test_Sort_Database.odb and a readme.txt The Wiki-recommended User-defined function used to sum values in fields (see attachment for example*) works perfectly with the Sun Report Builder, if the 'Sorting and Grouping' Report function is not engaged. If 'Sorting and Grouping' is permitted for ANY field, the results from the User-defined function for ANY (other or same) field are nonsense. Problem is easy and reliable to reproduce. A very simple database example with a 'readme' is attached. *The Function: if function name is 'CostCalc', the formula is [CostCalc]+[fieldname], initial value is [fieldname], where 'fieldname' is the name of the field to be summed.
