Description j.ruston 2012-01-10 00:57:31 UTC
Hi,

On the following page: http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/instructions.html

There is a broken link to http://www.ooodocs.org/dictinstall where it says "Author of Dictinstall". This should probably be removed.

The page http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/instructions.html should be removed. It is outdated since many years.

After doing a bit more research into the link that was returning a 404 page, one thing that you should be aware of is that some pages on the site are linking to ooodocs.org (especially on the support forum) which has now changed from a support project for OpenOffice.org to an adware distribution of the office suite. Pages such as these include a link:

http://www.openoffice.org/about_us/pressfaq_ooo-osx.html

In order to protect users, it's probably a good idea to get rid of this.

Just a tip.

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
Comment 4 Rob Weir 2013-01-15 22:50:26 UTC
Fixed in revision 1433722, removed all links to OODocs website, since it has gone over to spam/adware.
