ALG: Could not reproduce in current AOO builds, color stays at initial object color as expected. Please recheck using a current developer snapshot (see https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+3.4+Unofficial+Developer+Snapshots). Thanks in advance! Verified against rev 1240836 on AOO dev snapshot, couldn't reproduce. also exist in latest build(r1240836) windowsXP add one step before step 5: 5)switch to Area tab. I managed to reproduce the bug on the following environment: OS: Linux, Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, kernel 3.2.0-24-generic SW: OpenOffice, AOO340m1 (Build:9590) - Rev. 1327774 Reproduction steps: 1) Create a new presentation. 2) Click "Basic" shapes, select "Rectangle". 3) Draw a rectangle with your mouse on the slide. 4) Press right click on the rectangle drawn, select "Area" in the menu. !NOTE!: A window pops up with 7 tabs. !NOTE!: You can see that "Area" tab is active and it contains a list of colors. !NOTE!: "Blue9" is active/selected on the list as active color. 5) Click on "Colors" tab to select that. 6) Click on "Area" tab again to select that. !NOTE!: Now "Black" is active/selected on the list of colors as active color. 7) Click on OK button now. !NOTE!: The color of rectangle is changed to black. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Additional information: You can achieve the same failure by clicking on any other tab in Step 5) except "Bitmaps". In case of "Bitmaps" you can see the following: *) Repeat steps 1-4 as above. 5) Click on "Bitmaps" tab to select that. 6) Click on "Area" tab again to select that. !NOTE!: Now "Black" is active/selected on the list of colors as active color. 7) Click on OK button now. !NOTE!: The color of rectangle is changed to WHITE (!!!). 8) Press right click on the rectangle drawn, select "Area" in the menu. !NOTE!: A window pops up with 7 tabs. !NOTE!: You can see that "Area" tab is active BUT it has the content of Bitmap tab now!!! At this state for this rectangle shape, I did not manage to recover the list of colors which was the original content of "Area" tab. From now on it always display the content of "Bitmaps" tab, when "Area" is selected. *** Issue 120524 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** can not reproduce on AOO350ml 1377620 on Win7-64bit The error is still there with r1378069 on WinXP. How to reproduce: 1. Open Draw and insert a filled rectangle, e.g. default rectangle from the left side of the drawing toolbar. Its color is 'Blue 9'. 2. From context menu call item 'Area'. You should be on the tab 'Area'. It shows in the field 'Fill' the item 'Color' and in the list the color 'Blue 9'. 3. Click on tab 'Gradient' without doing something there and back on tab 'Area'. Notice, that the fill color is now 'black'. *** Issue 124713 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Additional Info from Issue 124713: (a) Not a new problem, already Reproducible with server installation of "OOo 3.1.1 German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) DE [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]" (b) Still worked fine with OOo 2.0.2 (c) same problem when switch ot other Tabs in step 3 (d) All the same with shapes in Writer (e) Still reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0 RC3 – English UI / German locale [AOO410m17(Build:9763) - Rev. 1586584 2014-04-11 08:56:50]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4.
