Word6 and .odt documents in zip file

Sorry if this is a known issue (Bug 33011 or bug 44946),
but just adding more info.

Using OpenOffice 3.3.0, OOO330m20(build9567) on Windows XP.

Attempting to open Word 6 file results in "Read-Error. This is not a WinWord97 file."

Save the attached .odt file as Word-6 format and then attempt to re-open it.

(I tried to save it as word 6 as I use that on an old computer, but had to re-write document again and save in .odt.)

Just noticed bug 118119, might be similar and related.
Comment 2 Du Jing 2012-05-28 02:53:48 UTC
Can reproduce in AOO3.4 by use sample file in the attachment.
Comment 3 Terry Yang 2012-06-12 02:21:53 UTC
Can repro, change the status to Confirmed.
Comment 4 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-12-11 05:14:11 UTC
(a) already reproducible with
* server installation of  " AOO 4.0.0-Dev  – English UI / German locale [AOO400m1(Build:9700) - Rev. 1457992 – Rev.1457606  ((2013-03-19))]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile
* server installation of OOo 3.3.0

(b) still opened fine with
* Ooo 3.1.1 German WIN7  Home Premium  (64bit) DE [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"!

(c) although there are many differences, because the problem appears in the
    same version area, I think there might be a relation to "Bug 123830 -
    Particular.doc fails to open with Error Message"

(d) Latest confirmation for AOO 4.1.0-dev, but because of incomplete LCo
    selector (Bug 123063) no correct information can be contributed.
