Description Dmitry 2012-06-28 09:32:10 UTC
After installed OOO 3.4 i find the following 'leftovers' on my Win7 x64 box:

1) installation folder on desktop

2) a folder and bunch of files in the root folder
d:\CurrentVersion\
d:\install.exe
d:\install.res.1028.dll
d:\install.res.1031.dll
d:\install.res.1033.dll
d:\install.res.1036.dll
d:\install.res.1040.dll
d:\install.res.1041.dll
d:\install.res.1042.dll
d:\install.res.2052.dll
d:\install.res.3082.dll
d:\eula.1028.txt
d:\eula.1031.txt
d:\eula.1033.txt
d:\eula.1036.txt
d:\eula.1040.txt
d:\eula.1041.txt
d:\eula.1042.txt
d:\eula.1049.txt
d:\eula.2052.txt
d:\eula.3082.txt
d:\globdata.ini
d:\install.ini
d:\vcredist.bmp
d:\install.res.1049.dll
d:\VC_RED.cab
d:\VC_RED.MSI

While 1) is a nuisance - it is at least easily visible and easy to delete, and installer told user about it during install (at least in Custom mode).
But 2) is unexpected, not so easy to spot, harder to delete (might need UAC escalation, that regular user might be hard to obtain). And it just looks rather shabby practice to pollute root folder with temporary files, that had to be contained and had to be placed in Temp folder, and had to be deleted after use.
