OpenOffice Calc version 3.4.1

Cell A1: value: 1
Cell A2: value: 2
Cell A3: formula: =SUM(A1:A2)
Cell B1: value: 10
Cell B2: value: 11

Select Cells A1, A2 and A3
Copy selected cells (Ctrl+C)

Go to Cell B1
Paste special... Deselect all selections except for Formulas
Press OK
!!!! The values in B1 and B2 has been deleted !!!!

This was not the case in version 3.4.0
The values in Cells B1 and B2 may not been changed.

I get a overwrite warning. Have you at sometime checked the option, that you do not want the overwrite warning?

I see the same behavior as reported, though I do see a dialog first, warning that this will cause an overwrite. 

If I test the same scenario in Excel 2010 the non-formula cells are not overwritten.

I think that is a reasonable expectations, that when you say to paste only formulas, that non-formula cells are not erased.

But I am lowering the severity for this to normal, since it is not a crash or data loss situation, since the user is warned of the overwrite.
