Open linksDiff.ods, hover the cursor over cell A2, see the hyperlink target as 'tip'. Do the same for A1, the cursor does not change to a hand, and there is no tip; to know the target, one has to edit the hyperlink.
	The links work differently, too: ctrl-click A2, double-click A1.
Forum Moderator acknak notes: 'if I make A1 left-aligned, or even just "indent" it away from the right side of the cell, it works the same as B1.'
The link also behaves abnormally if the cell is centred.
This may be related to bug # 120523.

Same as Bug 71814 - Hyperlinks don't work (properly) when aligning right or centered
Comment 2 nightangelforum 2013-01-07 23:43:52 UTC
I can confirm this bug also in my case

Bug appears as described, left align=hyperlink, right align no hyperlink (in read-only mode)

I can confirm this bug.

In my case:

I see the hyperlink target as tip and the cursor change to a hand only if A1 and A2 are aligned to left or justified.
