mockup sidebar

Be Compatible with current behaviors of panels and toolbars in AOO.

Sidebar ideas, docking/floating/moving content panels and icon bar:

-- Make the icon bar[1] *identical* to the toolbars[2], users are free to dock the icon bar, just like what users can do in current AOO.

-- Users can undock/dock the content panels to bottom/top/left/right, just like what users can do in current AOO (Stylist, Navigator, Data Source, Gallery, Slides panel, Tasks panel[3]).

see attachment

Benefit:

-- User Customization.

-- Users don't need to suffer the big changes and knowledge break.

-- Suitable for displays of 4:3 aspect ratio and Screen Rotated 90 degrees.

@Martin: If you have a wiki account, it may be more useful to add your mockup in the wiki, on the Discussion tab

I do not have an account Wiki ... I have never used Wiki! :)
I'm sorry, maybe I was wrong to post here?

> I do not have an account Wiki ... I have never used Wiki! :)

due to spam, if you want an account, you'll have to ask it on the mailing list. See the header on the wiki informing this.

> I'm sorry, maybe I was wrong to post here?

No, you were not wrong. But it will be more visible on the wiki.
