Description V Stuart Foote 2013-02-28 01:34:14 UTC
New IA2 branch QA build is available for testing from the BuildBot process at http://ci.apache.org/projects/openoffice/#w7ia2

Build ID for 1448553 remains 3.50.9611 and version 0x0332258b (53618059), the same as the initial IA2 Branch 1441343. New build has received a new GUID/CLSID of {7E99C1C9-6849-4C6E-9BBE-6253E02740C2} replacing the {4F1AF26E-D49C-48B4-9C8D-218ECA64A36C}. Suspect that will make tracking issues against specific builds a bit confusing, is it something that can be tweaked in code?

A quick traversal of SVN shows most commits for this build be code housekeeping.

@Steve Yin, do you think it would be helpful if there were some running feedback and notes on the IAccessible2 Wiki ( https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+4.0+IAccessible2 )? That might help in QA to assess changes to the branch short of chasing down numerous commits in the SVN? It might also allow you to direct attention to testing specific accessibility areas of the GUI as you proceed with refining accessible roles in the branch.

Build ID for 1448553 download (shows internal config files date 3/6/2013) has title changed to Apache OpenOffice 4.0.0 (en-US) (AOO400(Build:9700)) with a version of 0x040025e4 (67118564).

New GUID/CLSID of {A2E746EF-DE67-45A5-AA79-229FC4236721}

Only substantive issue on getting a working IAccessible2 function in Windows was having to first run soffice.exe once as Administrator. And what is new, I then had to copy the javasettings_Windows_x86.xml file from the Administrators user profile--C:\Users\Adminsitrator\AppData\Roaming\ApacheOpenOffice\4\user\config--into the non-administrators group user profile.

Prior to copying the java settings xml file, the user profiles would not enter ia2 mode, and not javasettings_Windows_x86.xml was created for the user. NVDA and Accprobe showed only MSAA activity with no accessibility.

Once the xml file was copied, NVDA 2012.3.1 and Accprobe 1.2.1.1 both were tracking ia2 events and focus.

I filed bug 121762 a while ago for this.
