Illustration of problem

I am unable to use combining diacritic U+032F in combination with any character; as a linguist, I mainly need this diacritic in combination with i and u. When I enter the combination, I get the character twice, one overlapping with the other, and only the second one showing the diacritic.

Do you use the order first character then diacritic? Do you select both from the "special character" dialog?

a) Yes, I do.
b) No, I insert the letter using the keyboard, and use the "special character" dialog only for the diacritic. I should also say that this works with every diacritic, execpt for the reverse breve U+032F.

This bug occurs if the base character and combined mark have different character styles. To work it around, cut the diacritic and paste it as "unformatted text"..
