Over the long history of Apache OpenOffice and its predecessor projects the C++ standard has progressed significantly. This issue is for tracking other issues that address specific aspects where AOO is not conforming or violates best practices.

self reminder: the clang modernizer [1] provides very interesting code change suggestions. One just has to keep the buildenv baseline of our platforms in mind.
