This is what Alexandro's proposed Forum header looks like when embedded in the Forum header. In general it's quite nice (and the artifacts you see will be smoothed when we actually use the SVG version).
Unless I messed up with transparency, the orb looks a bit pale. I agree that it needn't be monochrome, but maybe a slightly darker (but still light blue) orb would fit better.

Note that the wiki is still unresolved, but it will be better to have the new infrastructure team in place to understand what could be done there. |

There was a conversation about the lack of compatibility between the current forum logo and the current Apache OpenOffice Logo. I generated the following svg with 2 alternative logos compliant with the current typeset and alignment of the logo.
