Description Francesca 2014-01-28 18:07:30 UTC
The font effect menu is not available in the format/character/font effect tab when text is in a text box--not sure if this is done on purpose for some reason I cannot see, or if it's a bug...

What is your operating system?
How do you insert the text box?

Sorry, added missing info.

AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958

The text box is inserted through the 'text' button of the 'draw' ('disegno') tool bar.

Also added screen capture of the effects tab with missing menu.
Comment 4 Francesca 2014-01-29 08:48:21 UTC
...and now I see that the menu I'm talking about is probably called the 'case' ('maiuscole/minuscole')menu; mistaken name in first comment due to search for 'small caps' option in the forum, which returned instructions for a 'font effect' menu, not sure if that is correct name in English version of OO...

Hope everything is clear now.

Thanks, Francesca

True, should be an enhancement request. Probably the case due to that EditEngine (the text formatter used in DrawingLayer) cannot handle that attributes.
