I just installed OSX Mavericks 10.9.2 and also updated from OO 3.4.1 to OO 4.0.1. Now I get consistent OO crashing when opening xlsx and docx files which previously worked fine on 3.4.1 and OSX Snow Leopard. 

I still have 3.4.1, but this also now crashes with Mavericks. 
Xls and doc files appear to open just fine with either OO version.

So the problem(s) appear to be with OO 3.4.1 and 4.0.1 compatibility with OSX Mavericks 10.9.2.

I would love to have a solution to this as I depend heavily on OO, and much prefer it to the Apple or MS products.

I set this issue as irreproducible.
Feel free to reopen after testing last build.
If still occurs, provide a document to reproduce.
