The only thing I can recognize is that the crashing thread 6 contains a checkForUpdates() call. You replace a certain library in the your installation with the one provided in bug 124426. Could you please provide a little bit more clearer which actions you perform when you are "trying to change the page settings"? Did you use the corresponding Sidebar Property panel 'Page'? Did you opened the Stylist, chose a Page Style, opened the Format Page Style dialog via the context menu entry Modify. Did you double-clicked the current Page Style name in the status bar to open the Format Page Style dialog? Did you open the Format Page Style dialog via menu Format - Page? I remembered this issues, when I had a deeper look at issue 124421. The provided stack trace showed the same as the stack trace which I got on reproducing issue 124421. @Gerhard Ochsenfeld: Did you had internet connection when you observed this issue? Should answer some of your questions. I did want to change the frame of the page. I need to say that the document, I wanted to change, was built with AOO 3.3.0 originally, then later opened in AOO 4.1.beta and neccessary to change frame sizes. I did NOT use the sidebar because I want to see more of the document on my screen (13,3 inches with 1280 pt width). So I used the menu above. Then ‚page‘ or ‚page settings‘. Yes, I was ‚online‘. As such a crash is currently not reproducible with arbitrary text documents I would like to ask you, if you could attach a sample document with which you can reproduce the crash. In case your document is confidential, you can also share it just with me - you can be sure that I will only use it to reproduce the crash. Thx in advance. |
