this is seen on Windows 7 64x (In reply to joe from comment #1) > this is seen on Windows 7 64x OpenOffice is a 32 bit application, so you have to install a 32 bit Java. Download from the Oracle site: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-se-jre-7-download-432155.html accept the license agreement, and download the link that says "Windows x86 Offline - 19.26 MB - jre-7-windows-i586.exe" Once installed, restart OpenOffice, and go to Tools - Options... - OpenOffice - Java. The 32 bit version of Java should be listed there, just select it. |
