Description Jens611 2014-06-13 14:02:39 UTC
The base application urgently needs a history function with automatic store and restore. The effort to integrate such a function should not be so high, but in consequence it would make OO a real database application!

During this week I lost data from an OO table, which had been entered by two people in two hours and that is an annoying loss. The reason for losing the data is not clear. Maybe I changed something on the table definition after haveing entered the data. When I looked into today I found old data from the last year in it, though I had seen actual data 7 days ago.

How did you create the database? Are you using the default where the database is store inside the ODB document?

The database is 3-4 years old, it's a tax and revenue database. I usually copy it each year from the previous data. The first step is to delete all entries from the table (e.g. 2012), then the year is changed (e.g. to 2013) and afterwards new records are entered with help of a form.
