French is my natural language but I manage in english.

If you check my set-up (attached) it is the only way I found to get French AND the North American money punctuation. Some French Canadiens use the (France)punctuation but it's a small minority.

The "Paramètre Linguistique" should be "french" but it gives the Parisien money punctuation EVEN if the "Monnaie par défaut" is set to English Canada.

It's been bugging me for years but I have managed around (or use Excel) but it's cumbersome.

Also if you state "Uniquement pour le document actif" all the previous and future spreadsheets will be affected. So it doesn't work.

I like O.O. very much and would LOVE it if it wasn't for this "MONEY" bug.

Unfortunately, I'm not a member of Facebook or the likes and won't be.

To summarize, I like working in French, use the French dictionnary and prefer using the North Ameriacn maney punctuation $44,444.33 and not the parisien way of doing it.

Thanks,

André B.
