The function opens a dialog that lists functions. When double-clicking you can add them. So, "Function List" is not wrong in the "Insert" menu. Is that different for you? The Function List itself can't be. If you don't want to move it, rename it to 'Function from List'. This would be more clearly in the context of Insert. Sure, you can see a list of functions depending on the chosen category and a short help text. But at the end you can insert the function - either via double-click or the little "f(x)" icon on top left. Furthermore, it seems the same base functionality than for the Function Wizard which can be opened with the menu command one above. So, for me it's OK to be in the "Insert" menu. But what I dislike is that it is duplicate with the Function Wizard and the menu item (+ code) "Function List" should be removed completely. This is of course my opinion. ;-) (In reply to Marcus from comment #3) > Sure, you can see a list of functions depending on the chosen category and a > short help text. Your opinion. My is another. > But what I dislike is that it is duplicate with the Function Wizard and the > menu item (+ code) "Function List" should be removed completely. > > This is of course my opinion. ;-) For me this is a essential aspect, which was not in my mind. I agree with you to remove this command. |
