To verify this follow the below steps
1.Create a data base
2.Open form in design view
3.Enable the form controls in tool menu
4.Make sure that "wizards on/off"  control is off.
5.Then click on the list box control  and drag it on form
6.Then double click on the list box,it displays a properties up coming window
7.In that modify these options
         Drop down           :Yes
         Multi selection     :Yes
         Default selection   :Triangle
         List entries        :circle(shift+enter)
                              Triangle
                              square
        Enabled               :yes
8.After changing all these options off the design mode
9.Then given data is not displaying.
