4.1.1 RC3 (for OS/2), clean install.

Installed English dictionary. Closed Extension Manager. Opened Extension Manager, clicked Check for updates, and it appeared as though nothing was happening. I looked in my window list, and there was the update check window, supposedly running in the foreground, yet it was hidden completely behind the Extension Manager window. Selecting it brought it to the surface, where it was reporting that no updates were available (as expected). Closed the window, and all went normally.

Window should either be repositioned or (better) Z-order should change to put it in front of Extension Manager when called.

This is a long term problem, related to window Z-order and 'Window List' title control.

Is this an OS/2-specific problem or is it a possibly-general failure in the options employed in raising the "checking for updates" message/dialog?
