Open tstJump.odt, at beginning --hit ^Home if necessary.
^click XXX; Cursor jumps to 10, just 3 lines above, ...but the whole screen gets redisplayed --to confuse the user and give the impression that the target was far away?
If the target is on the current screen, it should not be redisplayed.(Of-course, ^click yyy redisplays, because the target is off-screen.)

System spec:
Windows 10 x64
OO4.2.0
AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1692551
Rev.1692551
System 1: Dell latitude E6410 using 4.1.1
System 2: Custom Desktop 3+ years old using 4.2.0

Similar issue: https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125731 Hypertext is not jumping to correct spot.

I was able to replicate this error in 4.1.1 but not in 4.2.0. In 4.1.1, I was able to replicate the issue with the test document provided but was not able to in 4.2.0. Likewise, when using Word 2013, it worked in the same way that 4.2.0 did, which leads me to believe that the issue has been resolved. The steps I used to replicate the bug in a new document are

Writer in a new File
Insert table at beginning of document
Insert another table on another page
Go to View and then Navigator
Open the drop down under tables
Drag the two links onto the document
Ctl + click the link to go to that part of the document

I have attached the document I made for further reference. After clicking on the link the screen would jump up as if trying to move to another part of the document if on 4.1.1 but in 4.2.0 does nothing if the linked table is at the top or adjust the page so that it is at the top. I believe this issue was resolved in the current build but the overall issues with in document linking have not been. This is because I found a related issue that still occurred in 4.2.0 with in document links which is linked at the top of this bug report.
