For me, not a bug but a end-user issue. Java must be installed in 32-bits version. I have the latest ver. from JAVA on Win 10. When trying to create a table on DataBase (OpenOffice.org) an announcement appears always I would not have any JAVA on my pc or it's not working properly. Trying to show the programme path of JAVA it am told there would not be a JRE. In that case the announcement should be changed in a matter that it is looking for a certain file instead of letting me try each and every path below c:\Progrmmm\JAVA\<Java ver.> which I tried completely and more than just once. Which file is OOo looking for? It's a lousy game letting me run in circles which I typicalla dislike. On my MacBook it runs dorrectly. Apache OpenOffice is a 32-bit (x86) program and it requires a 32-bit (x86) version of Java. We do need to make the messages more clear. Yes, this is an issue. |
