Description Pedro 2017-11-06 22:14:13 UTC
It is useful to have information about OS name and version automatically added in the About dialog. This can easily be copied and pasted when asking/providing details about the system where a given issue occurs. An example would be "OS: Windows 10.0.15063"

Adjusted the hardware settings as this is already done, however not for the Windows OS. So, here it's a good idea to add this information.

(In reply to Marcus from comment #1) > Adjusted the hardware settings as this is already done, however not for the > Windows OS. So, here it's a good idea to add this information. The text in the About dialog only shows informations about the system it was build on (static text), not the system it actually runs on... This would be an enhancement for all platforms

I do not know if this information is relevant. For example, if you are with Windows 7 Pro x64 In a console, ver command results "Microsoft Windows [version 6.1.7601]"
