hi aricciolini,

thanks for using and supporting OpneOffice...

the only way i know is to export the files out of SmartSuite to
Microsoft data formats and convert these files via
File->Autopilot->Document Converter to OpenOffice...

Lotus writes on the Internet :
...Word Pro can read all Word Files including Word 97, 2000 and XP.
It can save in Word 95, 97 and 2000 format or lower.
1-2-3 can read and write all Excel version files with improved
fidelity in this release.
Freelance can read and write to all PowerPoint 97/2000/XP files...

Hi all,

I guess this is an RFE, which is why it hasn't been closed, but it doesn't
appear to have been acted on either. I have seen a number of requests from users
both on the English and French language lists about the availability of Lotus
Smatsuite filters. LM is a pretty cheap piece of software and is often bundled
with various VARs PCs, including IBM general public machines. I feel therefore
that there is a need for such filters.

As far as I know IBM has never released any specification concerning the format
of SmartSuite Documents, and it may be that they aren't allowed to under the
sales contract between them and Lotus Corp. Is there any hope that such filters
will one day be developed, or are we doomed to a "if you want them, do them
yourself" remark ?

Just my 2c.

Alex

Lowering Issue priority...

From: http://qa.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#priority
P2 - Marks severe problems which affect a significant number of customers.
Issues with this priority must be fixed before the target release ... and should
be dealt with as soon as possible. Not fixing them for the target release is not
acceptable.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
