Description danyey 2003-04-13 01:00:46 UTC
OpenOffice draw appears to output gradients as seperate polygons. It would be
better if they were output as SVG gradients (eg: <linearGradient/>), as in one
case, it resulted in a 1.4Mb file for a single slide.

Reassigned to Bettina.

Comment 3 rvojta 2004-11-09 19:13:23 UTC
I tried this issue with the latest OOo 1.9.x build and still valid. Try
to export one slide with gradients and than, compare .svg (>1MB) and .ood
(<20kB) files.

SVG file supports linearGradient which should be used instead of seperate
polygons for gradients.

The problem with gradients exported as quantized polygons, is also described in
Issue 65970.
Reassigning, since this seems to have passed requirements.

I've finally found this report from issue:65970, which I found from Ubuntu's
Launchpad:270726.

Is this the problem causing the white line bug on gradients exported to PDF?

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
