Some more testing reveals that if I change the Table Format "spacing to contents" from the default .04" to 0" and if my tables are created with no header, THEN I can save my document as a Word97 doc and have it view correctly in MS Word 2000. The table sizing (cell height) is still a little different from .doc to .sxw but all in all not a bad conversion. I just probably shouldn't have to jump through the above hoops to get it looking acceptable. *** Issue 13984 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Please upgrade to 1.1rc3 and attach a sample document if this does not resolve your issue.
