Description rodro 2003-06-11 20:35:04 UTC
When exporting a file to PDF format, if there's at least 1 PDF file
in the working dir, OOo fills the dialog's file name field with the
same name as the active file (docu.sxw->docu.pdf etc.), but if
there's no PDF file in the working dir, OOo leaves the field blank.

Will have a look on it
Comment 8 guido.pinkernell 2003-10-14 23:23:52 UTC
You might want to have a look here:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=20005

It has describes the same phenomenon (no default file name)
but gives a different explanation.

Comment 11 tino.rachui 2003-11-13 11:40:49 UTC
The problem is reproducable: A default export file name will
be set if the directory containing the file has another sub directory
and/or a file with the extension *.pdf else no default file name will
be set. Isn't that crazy?
Will have a look at it soon.

Kind Regards,
Tino

This is a defect in the Windows FileOpen dialog and can at best be workarounded.
Because of limited resources this has to be delayed until the next major OOo
version.
Comment 14 norbert2 2005-02-18 14:22:14 UTC
Issue 43034 seems also to be caused by Windows-dialogs. Maybe you could also
workaround this.
Comment 15 tino.rachui 2005-06-13 12:44:27 UTC
Reassigned for change of responsibilities sake.

cd: Please take over. Could be a problem with the Windows file picker.
