Issue 16791

Summary: Importing full table data from the Data Source Browser (tool that gets activated by pressing F4) does overwrite/remove cell formatting. Copying and pasting single data fields per drag and drop does not change the formatting.

Description jhansonxi 2003-07-13 21:29:52 UTC
Source: Data Source view window - M$ Access database connected via ODBC

Target: A cell with specific background/font properties set

What should happen: The dropped table/query data should be pasted into the cell
while maintaining the existing cell formatting.

What does happen: The data background is set to white, the column headings are
set to gray.

Other: Not only is this bad behavior, it is also rather ugly. And there is no
way to prevent the column headings from being imported (
