I can Reproduce the problem on OOo 1.1 RC4, Win XP Pro Sp1 It is real problem The text and Flowchart on 1st page is mixed in same positions change to new reassigned to mru please take a look at this issue set target to OOo later MRU->CMC: I think, we should better take the anchor position for the drawing groups from WW's drawing canvas (in this case "in line with text"). When switching the anchor manually to "character" after import, it looks almost as in WW. Created attachment 9424 [details]

Well I can fix this for the most common varient, but a full solution requires that issue 3958 be implemented.
