p.s.: you may reword the summary for clarification of what is requested and let the user choose the symbols which should be aligned !! this's for OOo Math, is it not? MRU->BH: This could be a useful enhancement for Math. allow multiple column alignment so that I can align lines so that <=> and = are always directly below each other. and everyting inbetwenn is just as it is eg. (x-a)^2 = 4 <=> x-a = +/-2 <=> x = a +/-2
