Description rogerathome 2003-08-26 21:21:46 UTC
When opening "The Frame Style: Frame > Type" tab, several settings like
"Relative (Width,Height)", "Autosize" and "Mirror on even pages" are not stored
when clicking OK. Should they be greyed out or is this a bug? PS I haven't
tested all settings.

hi roger,
i can not reproduce this here
i made the folloing steps

inserted a frame
selected the frame
opend the frame dialog via contextmenu
set witdth -> relative
set height -> relativ
unchecked autosize

closed the dialog
reopend the dialog
all settings where in the same condition like i set them in the
session before

i saved the document
and reopend it
settings are still like i set them before.

is this the way where the error occurs on your system?

Ah the big difference is: I haven't specified any styles yet so I
wanted to change it to make a default before actually making the syles.
I now see that Numbering Styles also has this problem. Is there
something conceptual i'm missing here?

ok this is reproducible, the checkboxes should be disabled.

reassigned to os

set target to OOo later

Autosize works fine in an m193.
Relative width/height are only stored if they are changed. When switching from
absolute to relative values they cannot even be determined because styles don't
have a reference widht/height to which the actual size could be compared.

It's not a solution to disable these controls.
