- added keyword Q-PCD raised the prio to P3 MMP>CP: Thanks for taking over. *** Issue 4798 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Is this a duplicate of Issue 12836? *** Issue 13718 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** targeted for 2.0 according to http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/pdf_export/PDFExport.sxw . Wow - that spec is certainly detailed - top work. The comprehensive support of PDF Export will certainly make OOo a powerful way of creating PDF, including PDF forms. In reading the '6.10 UI for PDF Export' the Pages selection intrigued me. Why is it different to the 'Print Range' area of the Print Dialog? In Windows OOo 1.1 Writer/Calc/Presentation it is titled Print Range and the options are All/Pages/Selection. In the proposed UI it is All/Range/Selection. I don't have a developer build to check if the Print UI has changed, or another platform to see if it is platform-dependant. Shouldn't the Pages/Print Range part of the UI be consistent with the Print dialog UI, and change Pages to Print Range and Range to Pages (sorry, I don't know the German print dialog equivalents for the specification)? That's a good idea - the ranges section is currently that way because it was in OOo 1.1. But it makes much more sense to harmonize the behaviour with the print dialog, so i'll update the spec. Errm, maybe I missed it, but as long as it is impossible to create pdf's from documents containing eps pictures, see issue 14163, it would be nice to get a warning that the created pdf will be useless. (Warning!: Document includes eps pictures, they will be ommitted.) *** Issue 31215 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 10388 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 23575 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 20142 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 20222 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 19669 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** cp->mmp: pdf export went into CWS pdf01, which is currently nominated (i.e. QA is already done). Remaining issues will be handled on a task basis, some are going to be fixed in pdf02, some have to be done later (tagged PDF in calc, visited hyperlinks). I recommend to close this one, and later open a new one for further improvements of PDF export in a release after 2.0 fixed *** Issue 17463 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** *** Issue 26952 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** all OOo 2.0 subtasks are fixed; just some OOoLater tasks are open. Hence I move the target for this node task to OfficeLater as well accept *** Issue 49226 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Regarding document outline and PDF bookmarks: My expectation was that everything that makes it into the tables of contents should also be included as a PDF bookmark in the exported document. Unfortunately, custom index entries and "additional index styles" that can be selected in the "Insert Index/Table" dialogue are currently (m113) not included as PDF bookmarks in the exported document. Since an additional UI for configuring what should be included as bookmark is not desirable, shouldn't the document outline be configurable independent from the outline numbering and the table of contents? I am no longer officially active on OOo. Please take over. Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
