reassigned to mru This is not a major filter issue. Problem is, that does not offer a feature like Writer does with its bibliography. MRU->CMC/OS/ES: What are your opinions about this? May the filter workaround this by exporting this as kind of "User defined index"? Or could Word's "authority table" feature help...? I am not so firm with our biblio feature, so any Ideas/hints/opinions are welcome. MRU->BH: I don't think, that a workaround for bibliography-export to Word format is that much important, that it has to be done for OO 2.0. *** Issue 43721 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** To the user, this might appear as a major compatibility issue. I am preparing a submission to a scientific journal and guess what, they want a .doc file. Preparing everything with OO, its not nice to see my bibliography disappear when I do the final export to mswd ! I use the following manual workaround, which could be used by the export script I think: make the bibliography unprotected, so that you can select it as text in the OO version, then copy paste it to the .doc version. The citations in the text are correct, simply, they are no longer active citations, and the bibliography is just normal text. Filter could do this, with a proper warning ?? This issue is much more relevant now that MS Word 2007 includes citation and bibliography support in that application and in the Open XML file format. I assume there will be a MS OXML import/export filer, which will have to deal deal with citation and bibliography. But for export to earlier versions of MS word mkersz's suggest above should be added to the filters. *** Issue 91682 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Since Word 2007, MS now supports Bibliography / Citations. This should be implemented into the docx filter. Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
