When in DATABASE mode, special characters are inserted in the associated
docume,nt rather than in the database.
Comment 1 Frank Schönheit 2003-10-27 08:53:05 UTC
correcting priority according to
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/bug_status.html#priority

changing type to ENHANCEMENT: The "Insert|Special character" was never
intended to work with form controls, though I agree that it would make
sense to have the suggested functionality

assigning to user experience team for consideration

Hi all,

it's possible to insert a special character via the context menu of
the form control in live modus. However it should be also possible to
do this via the main INSERT menu.

Bye Marc

change subcomponent to 'none'
Comment 4 Frank Schönheit 2004-07-15 21:49:26 UTC
issue cleanup: confirming as valid RFE (which doesn't mean anything 'bout it
being implemented)
