The problem is that Math itself has no idea of a paper size associated with it. It is easily to write formulas that exceed the paper height or width. And that is causing the result. The result is much better if you use a embedded formula in a Writer document. Even though Math is an apllication on it's own it was never intended to be used as a document format. Fourmulas should be rather samll and embedded in other documents like Writer or Impress. Still with this sample it is even too much text for a Writer page to be displayed on and thus the end is missig. You should break up the formula into much smaller ones to be used in the Writer. And probably you'll like to write the titles to each formulas(set) in the Writer application also since then you'll be ablt to use styles, footnotes, a greater Selection of fonts, etc... along with them. All in all I think there is nothing to be fixed unless someone wants Math to be a multi page format on its own. But for that I think it lacks too much other fuctionality like those usuallay available in the Writer. TL->MRU: Please check on my comments and either close the issue or pass it on to BH as request for enhancment, whatever you see fit. Yes, Thomas is right. Math was not designed to process large formula collections in one document. Thus, there's no possibility to select a paper size. What you can do, is to file an "enhancement issue" where a new feature like "paper/page formatting" for OO Math standalone in requested. But I do not think, that this complex feature implementation will have a good chance for integration... Please express your point of view on this issue. Thanks a lot for your attention. As mentioned above, Math has not been designed for storing formula collections. I agree in keeping this as "RFE" at owner "requirements" until someone feels able to offer some code for calculating the content which may fit into the page of the currently selected locale/printer or might offer a kind of "Page formatting" for Math. *** Issue 102842 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** |
