Description ojec 2003-11-28 10:41:00 UTC
I'm using plain text file as a data source. First line is a header. Fields are
separated by TAB. Some fields may begin with zero(s), for instance 04001. I set
format to text. But it prints as 4001 (no leading zero). Is this a feature or am
I doing something wrong? I also want to format it as 040 01, but this is
posibble for numbers only (in this case leading zero disappears).

hi ojec,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice...

I tried this on Solaris using OOo1.1.0 and didn't get that problem...

I'll try on Linux later...

Hi ojec,

is this a Writer Issue or did you read your text file into Calc?
In any case, could you attach a file that shows this problem? It might be easier
for us to reproduce.

Thanks!
