Reassigned to Christian. I can't reproduce the bug. cgu, did you try reproducing the bug in Linux? I've tried it in Windows and it doesn't happen, only in Linux. If you're indeed using Linux, would you mind revealing which distro you're using (or any further relevant details for the matter)? I guess that would help narrow down the problem... I tested it with Suse 8.0 and and RedHat 8 my system is - 700 MHz Intel PIII - 256 MB Ram - 3GB Diskspace (255 MB free) Please tell me which language do you use. A friend has tried the same OOo version (English) on his desktop computer, and it did not crash. I'm running this version on a Compaq Presario 2158EA laptop, but I'd like to believe this has nothing to do with the hardware... CORRECTION: I've realized that the version I'm using is NOT an already-compiled, downloaded version, but rather one compiled in the laptop. The gcc --version results in: gcc (GCC) 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) (same compiler version as my friend's). Before I give up, 1) Are you using a already-compiled or download-source-and-compile-it version? 2) Which GCC version are you using? Strangely, this happens in the Linux version but not in the Windows (already-compiled) version. Perhaps I should recompile it... Thanks, I sincerely appreciate your attention! :-) I use an already compiled version. GCC version 2.95.3 I close the issue. Please reopen the issue if you still can reproduce the bug. |
