Following on from OR 24848:

Having attempted a write to a full disc OOo reduced the file to 0 bytes. I
loaded the .xls file into OOo and was presented with a blank piece of paper as
if I had just done Document --> New in Writer. Probably having a spreadsheet
file of 0 bytes is a little unusual but it would be nice to be presented with an
empty spread sheet document if the document type can be ascertained by other means.

Hi,

I think this affects also the other components, so I set the component to
framework and re-assign it.

TM->BH: I changed this one from defect to enhancement because a "...it would be
nice to be presented with an empty spread sheet document..." is more a wish for
a change in the behaviour than a defect. Anyhow, as far as I know,... a 0 byte
size document can only be opened as a blank one because of any missing
file-format information.

The Issue you raised has the status 'New' pending further action, but has not
been updated within the last 4 years. Please consider re-testing with one of the
latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been addressed.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
