Description jmspaggi 2004-03-19 12:38:50 UTC
I'm opening a word file for work inside. Saving the file to sxw format since I'm
working on, and export to .doc when finish for send it back to the people
sinding it to me.

When saving to .doc format, I'm loosing every charts :(

I will put a copy of the document somewhere. I will too test to 1.1.1rd

Tried with 1.1.1RC and 1.1.1RC3 and the probleme is same.
When you reopen the .doc file in OO, you can see the charts, but no more texts.

Hi.

I have Linux, Windows, OpenOffice under Linux and Windows, and an official
license of Micro$oft Word under Windows (at work).

I'm also a "good" java programmer, so, if the Word export part is build in
java,I think I can help if someone explain me where can I start.

MRU->MMAHER: export the attached .sxw to WW8 format, reload -> the drawing
object's text is gone.
Comment 8 Martin Hollmichel 2004-05-28 14:55:18 UTC
according to the announcement on releases
(http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=releases&msgNo=7503) this issue
will be re-targeted to OOo Later.

Comment 10 jmspaggi 2006-02-23 16:53:56 UTC
This issues still occurs with the 2.0.2 rc 3 OpenOffice version. But now, Word
(2003) is no more able to open the generated file at all. Tested from .sxw and
.odt file.
