Hi,

There are many times when performing a spellcheck I see I have misspelled
something. However the incorrect spelling may show a larger issue at that spot
which I would immediately like to correct.

If I cancel by closing the spellcheck window in Writer I am taken back to the
initial starting point.

In MS Word if I close (or press ESC) I am left at the end of the current word
which I find to be much better. I can fix the issue and then press F7 to
continue the spellcheck.

I know this is a matter of preference, but I thought I would raise it for
consideration.

I would even prefer to be left at the start of the incorrect word but it is
not that important whether it is the start or end.

Thanks

Kelvin

Hi,

Please note that issue 11751 and 18881 are similar and could for many people
be considered the same.

As I am not aware as to what is happening in the new spellcheck dialog for
OOo2, I will leave this issue live until I can confirm it is already covered.

Thanks for your time. Sorry if this duplicates what is already being done.

I concur. This is an option I would like to see.
