load the bugdocs and you will see the content of variablefields will be set to 0 short 
after the document has been loaded

Because of a shortage of resources we have to retarget this issue to OOo later.

OC: Regression task must be fixed for OOo2.0

The variables contain commands in the form  6666.66
Since a comma is expected the content is converted as string.

->oc: No regression in OOo 2.0 
Loading the document in SO7 has the same problem except that the fields are not
updated automatically. Editing the text forces the update of the field and the
value is set to NULL. 
->retarget to OOo Later

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
