Description norbert2 2004-04-06 20:45:43 UTC
Please reproduce the following steps:

- Enter any value into A1
- re-select A1 and pull it down (autofill) for a few cells
- press undo:

You can see that the selection is not correctly restored to A1 only, still the
whole columns is selected.
Excel correctly restores the selection to A1 only.

- click any cell, so that only that only that cell is selected
- press redo:

Now the cell selection is correctly restored.
Because this works with redo, I see the fact that it does not work with undo as bug.

The undo-function behaves even more strange:
It NOT only does NOT restore the selection like it looks first, it restores
incorrect selection:

- click any cell, so that only that only that cell is selected
- press undo:

Now only A1 is filled, like it should be. But undo also has selected the whole
column again. This is nonsense...

A similar problem can be reprouced much easier:

- focus a filled cell

- press backspace to delete it

- press undo:

Now the cell is selected, instead of only focused.
