- Shift+select should be from slide a to slide b(inclusive)
- Ctrl+select should be multiselect(which is what shift+select does today)
- shift + cursor up/down should extend the selection range(currently has no 
effect).

When in the option "View-->Workspace-->Slides view" is choosen, you find
problems with the (universal) standard of the control/shift selection.

Do you agreed it is a P4?

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

Please add "usability problem" to this issue. In my opinion this is something,
the UX team shoud consider to fix: (1) Everyone coming from Powerpoint is used
to select multiple slides with SHIFT and the cursor keys. (2) Besides the fact
that Powerpoint behaves like that, it is indeed very intuitive to select
multiple slides pressing SHIFT and the cursor keys. 

Please consider consider to fix this usability problem in the nearer future.
Please set a target milestone for it.
