reassigned to ES. I can't reproduce it. Please attach a sample document. Created attachment 15725 [details]
Test case SXW file that you can export to XHTML yourself
The endnotes are still there but on a an HTML page *2* which is not really HTML view compliant. Viewing the file in a browser, everything is ok. > The endnotes are still there but on a an HTML page *2*
No, they are not there. I just ran another test. The endnotes are completely
missing from the xhtml exported file. I examined the file by hand using a
stand-alone text editor.
es. This seems to be a serious issue. Can the priority be increased ? David N. Wilson Project Lead for the Bibliographic OpenOffice Project This problem is still on in OOo 2.3!!!!. I attach a short file with three endnotes. You can see that while the odt and the pdf has the endnotes, the xhtml file do not. I generated the xhtml file by export to xhtml. Note that by "save as" on html file also keep the endnoted. Here is the body of the xhtml file (from export): <body dir="ltr"><p class="Standard">New Document </p><p class="Standard">AAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSS</p></body> The body of the html file (from save as) is much different: <BODY LANG="fr-FR" DIR="LTR"> <P STYLE="margin-bottom: 0cm">New Document</P> <P STYLE="margin-bottom: 0cm"><A CLASS="sdendnoteanc" NAME="sdendnote1anc" HREF= "#sdendnote1sym">i</A>AAAAAAA<A CLASS="sdendnoteanc" NAME="sdendnote2 anc" HREF="#sdendnote2sym">ii</A>SSSSSSSSSSSS<A CLASS="sdendnoteanc" NAME="sdendnote3anc" HREF="#sdendnote3sym">iii</A></P> <DIV ID="sdendnote1"> <P CLASS="sdendnote"><A CLASS="sdendnotesym" NAME="sdendnote1sym" HREF=" #sdendnote1anc">i</A>Aaaaaaaaaaaaa</P> <P CLASS="sdendnote"><BR> </P> </DIV> <DIV ID="sdendnote2"> <P CLASS="sdendnote"><A CLASS="sdendnotesym" NAME="sdendnote2sym" HREF=" #sdendnote2anc">ii</A>SSSSSSSSSSSSSS</P> </DIV> <DIV ID="sdendnote3"> <P CLASS="sdendnote"><A CLASS="sdendnotesym" NAME="sdendnote3sym" HREF=" #sdendnote3anc">iii</A>DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD</P> </DIV> </BODY> Created attachment 49432 [details]

save into html : the endnotes show
This is a very serious bug. I am using OpenOffice to edit an online openacess journal, Verniana, http://JV.Gilead.org.il/studies, and use export to pdf and xhtml to generate the galleys (I separate the xhml to body and css for display). Howver, the fact I cannot use endnotes is very disturbing. I have to change all the automatically genetrared endnotes with normal paragraphs with a manual crossreferencing! |
