Description aparan 2004-07-17 08:35:12 UTC
the new customise dialog for toolbars {Tools > Customize} has no option for
show/hide toolbars under its toolbar tab, which could be useful to show / hide
toolbars from that place.

Customising toolbars also means showing/hiding some icons as preferred by user
or the toolbar itself. So this is desirable.

Hi aparan,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org...

The searched option can be found in View-toolbars...
Unfortunately this doesn't work In 680m47 but this is a known issue and the work
on it is in progress and will work in one of the next developer versions again...

Hi aparan,

since we didn't "hear" anything from you in this case I assume the suggested way
(View -> Toolbars) is the function you searched. I'm closing this issue now...

I am really sorry for not 'commenting' timely.

What I feel is that under the Tools > Customize..> Toolbars section you could
add something like a checkbox or a command to the menu of 'Modify' item to
show/hide the specific toolbar. If a checkbox is added to a listing of
toolbars, things would be really faster and easier to use.

Thanks

Aparan.

Dear developers,
please consider this enhancement. It would improve user experience when
setting up toolbars.
Thanks a lot.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
