Description alexalexalex 2004-08-01 07:09:45 UTC
I've found it a little problematic pasting content from my browswer/webpage
content into the writer. Pasting preserves the urls to all the images and any
other content/links present on the webpage. This becomes a problem when you're
not on the internet and trying to load the document because the program spends
about 2 or 3 minutes attempting to access the online content. I've found a way
to get around this problem which entails me going to the 'edit'-> 'links' menu,
and 'breaking' all the links in the document. However I find this step to be a
bit of an inconvenience. What I'd like to see is the option to import web
content as is, without preserving its links to the original source. This, i
think (and i'm not a developer/programmer so i could be wrong) could be done
either in the 'options' menu, or 'paste special' menu. If this is instated under
the 'paste special' menu, it would also be helpful if there was a way to specify
it as a default pasting option.
