The edit cursor is on page 6, for example, but you have used the scroll bar / 
mouse wheel to view page 3, for example. If you now save the document the view 
will jump to where the edit cursor is (i.e. from page 3 to page 6).

The view is stored by the cursor's position, not the scrollbar's. It
jumps back to that position slightly too often, agreed. 
SBA->AMA: I think you already have a similar one (don't ask me what
tracker ;-)
